Obituary	Frank Z. Brown The death of Major Frank Z. Brown 56, well known resident and prominent in community affairs, occurred Friday morning, after a brief illness at his home on Spring street. He was born in Richmond, Va., the son of David and Etta Mary Brown, graduated from Virginia Military Academy and from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and was instructor in Richmond schools for a time. He has been a resident of Dexter for about 20 years, had served on the board of selectmen and had been in the Maine National Guard and was a member of the local Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Brown, and his brothers, Stewart and Harvey Brown, of Richmond, Va. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. W. J. Metz of the Universalist church officiating. There were many beautiful flowers. The bearers were James Seavey, Edgar Robinson, Wallace Randall, Arthur E. Russ, Harry E. Hale and Fred Herrick. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
