Obituary	Mrs. Francena M. House Mrs. Francena M. House, 88, died Saturday forenoon at the home of her grandson, Byron E. Mitchell, on Upper Main street, after a two weeks' illness. Born in Ripley, the daughter of James S. and Mehitable T. Carr, had lived there the greater part of her life; for the past five years here with her grandson. She is survived by a son, Howard D. Laws of Lynn, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. Walter L. Mitchell of Boston, a granddaughter, Mrs. Charles Sturling of Detroit, Mich.; a grandson, Mr. Mitchell, a great granddaughter and great grandson. Private funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at her late home, by Rev. Kenneth R. Hutchinson. Interment was in St. Albans cemetery.
