Obituary	Charles A. Prescott Dexter friends of Charles A. Prescott were sorry to learn of his death which occurred at his home in Reading, Mass. Sunday, October 23. He had been in failing health for about a year, but was confined to his bed for only a week. Surviving are a wife, Mrs. Lucy Prescott, and a brother, John Prescott of Massachusetts, Mr. Prescott spent his boyhood in Dexter, making his home for several years with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hutchinson, and attending the public schools in this town. He learned the printer's trade in the office of the Dexter Gazette during the time that Holman Day was editor. He was employed as proof reader on the Boston Globe for many years until he was obliged to give up his work about a year ago because of ill health.
