Obituary	Mrs. Charles F. Bailey Funeral services for Mrs. Mary I. Bailey, 69, wife of Charles F. Bailey, who died at her home on Water street Thursday, were held at the home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev. Ondon P. Stairs of the First Baptist church officiating. The bearers were Lloyd Blethen, Melvin Clifford, Daniel Clifford, Clayton McGinley, Leslie Johnson and Leon LaRochelle. There was an abundance of beautiful flowers. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mrs. Bailey was born in Lincoln, the daughter of Samuel K. and Sarah L. Thornton. She has made her home in this town for many years. Surviving are her husband, Charles F. Bailey of this town; five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Ellis of Sangerville, Mrs. Annie Makes of Idaho, Mrs. Effie McKinley, Mrs. Sarah Clifford and Miss Gladys Bailey of Dexter; two sons, Bertram Bailey of Lincoln and Myron L. Bailey of Dexter; three sisters, Mrs. Bird L. Aldrich of Bangor, Mrs. Carie Sears of Vanceboro and Mrs. Emma Olmstead of California.
