Obituary	Joseph S. Ham The death of Joseph S. Ham, aged 74 years occurred late Monday night at the home of his brother-in-law, Rue Gilman, Lower Main street. Mr. Ham suffered a fall down stairs ten weeks ago while visiting at North Anson, and had been bedridden ever since. Mr. Ham was born in Hartland but lived the larger part of his life in South Glen Falls, N. Y., where he was engaged in the manufacture of shirt waists and dresses. He is more generally known throughout Maine as a traveling salesman. He and his wife came to Dexter three years ago to make their home with Mrs. Ham's brother, Ruel Gilman. Besides his wife, Mrs. Lydia Gilman Ham, the only relative surviving is an aunt, Mrs. Ida Ham of Auburn. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the Gilman home, Rev. Henry Weston of the Free Baptist church officiating. Interment will be in Madison.
