Gilman A. Pullen The death of Gilman A. Pullen, 69, occurred last Thursday at his home on the Garland road. He was born in Oakland, the son of Horace M. and Elvira Tyler Pullen, but had lived in Dexter the most of his life and was a well-known farmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche Pullen, and his brothers, Henry Pullen of Dexter and Everett E. Pullen of Haverhill, Mass., also a niece, Mrs. Rosie Pearl of West Garland. The funeral was Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence. (The Eastern Gazette 7-18-1935, p.5) Gilman A. Pullen Gilman A. Pullen died Thursday morning, July llth, at his home on the Garland road at the age of 69 years. He had been in failing health for several months. Although he suffered a great deal, he bore it very patiently and was cheerful most of the time. He was born in Dexter Feb. 17, 1866 son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace Pullen. He leaves a widow, Mrs. Blanche Pullen, and two brothers, Henry J. Pullen, of Dexter and Everett E. Pullen of Haverhill, Mass., and a niece. Mrs. Rosa Pearl, of West Garland. Funeral services were held at the farm home on the Garland road Saturday, July 13, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Knox officiating. There were many beautiful floral tributes. Interment was in Mt.
