Obituary	Mrs. Henrietta T. Stairs Funeral services for Mrs. Henrietta Thornton Stairs, 87, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Bugbee, Saturday, were held Monday afternoon at the Bugbee home. Rev. Ondon P. Stairs, a relative, pastor of the First Baptist church officiated. The bearers were two grandsons, Shirley and Glen Bugbee, and two great grandsons, Shirley Carter and Milton Bugbee. Mrs. Stairs was born in Hampton, N. B. She was the widow of Wesley Stairs, who died 47 years ago. She has resided in Maine about 50 years, coming to Washburn nearly 25 years ago, and has lived with her daughter in Dexter for 24 years. She was a member of the Methodist church, and was much interested in the activities of the church until ill health caused her to retire from active work. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Bugbee, and Mrs. Samuel Landeen both of Dexter, and one son, George Stairs of Searsport, who was unable to come to Dexter because of ill health. She, also, leaves 21 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
