Obituary	Melvin Seavey Funeral services for the late Melvin Seavey were held Wednesday forenoon at 10 o'clock at the home on the Old Newport road, Rev. Herbert Dana Knowles of Corinna officiating. The bearers were Fred Wentworth, Clifford Goulette, George Safford and Jesse Hoyt. Burial was in the St. Albans cemetery. Mr. Seavey was 70 years of age and nearly a lifelong resident of Dexter. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Myrtle Seavey, the only near relative. He was a farmer and member of the Dexter Grange, but for the past few years has been retired actively, by poor health, passing away Sunday.
