Obituary	Mrs. Henry P. Dexter The death of Mrs. Frances Ellen (Swanton) Dexter occurred at her home on Maple street Wednesday morning, following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Dexter was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Glacier) Swanton and was born in this town Dec. 8th, 1845 and observed her 90th birthday a short time ago. She was the last survivor of a family of 10 children, her brother, Frank, who passed away a few years ago, being a twin. May 4th, 1878, she was united in marriage with Henry P. Dexter, who survives her. She was a member of the First Baptist church, the What-so-ever class and the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, being a very earnest and energetic worker in all those socities until failing health prevented. Mrs. Dexter lived a most exemplary life, an excellent home maker, a faithful friend and a loyal neighbor. She is survived by her aged husband and many nieces and nephews. Of her may well be used the passage: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished the course. I have kept the faith." Funeral services will be at the home Friday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock.
