Obituary	James Dow James Dow, 74, for 26 years one of the most respected residents, died at his home on Free street Monday evening, after an illness of a few hours. He was born in Alba, Scotland, and came to this country at the age of 19. He formerly lived in Sangerville. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Effie Dow; two sons, Frank Dow of Washington, D. C., and Douglas Dow of Philadelphia; his brothers, George Dow of Glasgow, Scotland, and Sandy Dow of Sangerville, and two sisters, Mrs. Isabelle Chalmers, who lives in England and Mrs. Annie Meservey of Madison. Mr. Dow had been employed by the George Parks Woolen Company, in charge of the drawing and spooling rooms. Funeral services are at the late home this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
