Obituary
Raymond K. Wentworth Raymond Keith Wentworth, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wentworth, died at the home of his parents on the old Newport road early Sunday morning. He was very popular in the community. He had been in poor health for several months, and for the past month confined to his bed with heart trouble. He graduated from N. H. Fay High school in the class of 1931, and since that time had aided his father on his dairy farm, and had been local salesman for a chocolate company. Of sterling integrity and of a most pleasing personality, he will be missed by a large circle of friends. He is survived, besides his parents, by two sisters, Matilda and Gertrude, of Dexter; also by his grandmother, Mrs. Annie Wentworth; a great-grandmother, Mrs. Clara McClure, both of Dexter and by a grandfather, Frank F. Smith, of Caribou; two uncles and two aunts, Fred Wentworth of Dexter; Joseph Wentworth of Waltham, Mass., Miss Thelma Wentworth of Dexter, and Mrs. Gladys Knight of South Windham. Funeral services were held at the home on the old Newport road Tuesday afternoon, Rev. H. E. Weston, pastor of the Free Baptist church, and Rev. H. H. Hayes of Milo, a former pastor of the church officiated. The bearers were Daniel Wakefield, Carl Crawford, Clair Wilkins and Henry Safford of this town. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The floral tributes were beautiful and in great profusion, completely filling the room in which the casket rested. Among those attending the services from out-of-town were Mrs. Gladys Knight of South Windham; Joseph Wentworth of Waltham, Mass.; Mrs. Mary McClure, Dover-Foxcroft; Mr. and Mrs. William Bowley, Mr. and Mrs. James Nickerson, Corinna; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Richards, Waterville, Mr. and Mrs. Guy McClure, Garland, Mrs. Tressa Dore, Bangor.
