Obituary	William J. Mitchell, 81, died Thursday, February 5, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Stewart, Pleasant street, after several weeks' illness. Born in South Portland, Sept. 20, 1866, the son of Wilson D. and Mary (Joadrn) {Jordan?] Mitchell, he was a member of Kenduskeag Grange. Surviving are a son, Glen of Corinth; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Stewart; a granddaughter, grandson, and a great grandchild. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter. Rev. Gilman Lane of the Methodist church officiated. Interment will be in Hilltop cemetery in Corinth in the spring.
