Obituary
Lindley H. Folsom Lindley Herbert Folsom, 69, died at his home on lower Main street Monday afternoon following an illness of several months. He was born in Vineland, N. J., the son of Levi S., and Evelyn Packard Folsom, the eldest of six children. He had spent his early life in Monson and at Moosehead Lake but the greater part of his life was spent in Dexter, here he was held with high regard. Mr. Folsom was a rural free delivery carrier for 27 years, retiring from this service in 1931. He was a member of Plymouth lodge, I. 0. 0. F. of the Modern Woodmen of America, and the Free Baptist church, where he served as clerk of the church organization for many years. He was also a member of Dexter Grange. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Hayden Folsom; by a son, Charles H. Folsom, of Augusta; by two daughters Mrs. Marion Yeo and Miss Evelyn Folsom, both of Dexter; by four grandchildren; by two brothers, Joseph P. Folsom of Guilford and Omar J. Folsom of Hartland and who was with Mr. Folsom during his last illness, and a sister, Mrs. George F. Huff of Dexter. Funeral services were held at the residence on lower Main street Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. H. E. Weston, pastor of the Free Baptist church officiating, The bearers were J. L.
