Obituary
Linwood J. Folsom Funeral services for Linwood J. Folsom were Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Free Baptist church, Rev. H. H. Hayes, of Milo, a former pastor, officiating. Plymouth Lodge. I. 0. 0. F. conducted the impressive Odd Fellow burial service. A large number of relatives, friends, Odd Fellows and Grangers were present, and the floral tributes were many and beautiful. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The bearers were Fred Gove, and Albert Bentley, from Plymouth Lodge, Ernest Harrington, and George Watson, from North Dexter Grange, the deceased having been a member of the two organizations for many years. Linwood J. Folsom, a highly respected citizen, died Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Grant in North Dexter, after a long illness. He was born in Levant, sixty-five years ago, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Folsom, and moved with his parents to this town when a young boy. Mr. Folsom had a trucking business here for a long time before moving to North Dexter, seventeen years ago, where he was interested in farming until he was obliged to re tire because of ill health. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Angie Grant Folsom, one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Morrill, of Lewiston, and two brothers, Fred and Frank Folsom of Dexter.
