Obituary	WILLIAM R. MACDOUGALL DEXTER, William R. MacDougall, 89, died October 21, 2002, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born May 1, 1913, in Perth-Andover, Canada, son of Abram and Annie (Calwell) MacDougall. He moved to Ripley with his family in 1927 at the age of 14. He worked on area farms, and for the Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna. He became a full-time self-employed carpenter in 1945 and then from 1956-1986, he worked as a resident carpenter for Wild Goose Boy's Camp in Harmony. For many years William attended the First Free Baptist Church in Dexter. He is survived by a son and his wife, Donald and Ruth MacDougall of Dexter; a daughter and her husband, Judy and Roger Royal of Dexter; a sister and her husband, Mildred and Tommy Tufts of Stetson; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Pheronia (Carter) MacDougall; a son, Randolph MacDougall; five sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4 PM at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter with Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Friends may call from 3 PM until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. Those who wish may make donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maine Chapter, P.O. BOX 8730, PORTLAND, ME, 04104.
