Mrs. Dorothea Stone Hanson Committal services were held at Mount Pleasant cemetery Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock for Mrs. Dorothea Stone Hanson of Endicott, N. Y., who was killed in an airplane accident at Morris, N. Y., Saturday afternoon. Rev. John Quigg of the First Baptist church officiated and interment was in the Stone family lot. The service was attended by many friends, classmates, and relatives, and there was a profusion of flowers, silent tributes of love and esteem. Funeral services were held from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stone in Morris Tuesday, forenoon with Rev. Mr. Leonard officiating. Dorothea Stone Hanson was born in Dexter, Maine, February 1907, the daughter of Charles and Alice Additon Stone. She graduated from N. H. Fay High school in the class of 1924 and attended the University of Maine following year. In 1926 she was united in marriage to Arthur Hanson of Vassalboro, and has since lived in New Jersey and New York. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Audrey Lewis of Dexter; two aunts, Mrs. Florence Hanson of Dexter, and Mrs. Paul W. Came of Haverhill; one uncle, P. T. Additon of Ripley; three cousins Ethelyn Additon of Ripley, Madeline Hanson of Wrentham, and Mrs. Katherine Roguski of Wrentham. Those attending the services from out of town included: Mr. Ole Hanson of Vassalboro and daughter, Lillian, of Waterville, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hanson of Boothbay Harbor, Dr. and Mrs. George Rand of Livermore Falls, Mrs. Nellie Fipps of Toronto, Ontario, Mrs. Paul Perrin and Mrs. Arnold Gellerson of Dover-Foxcroft, Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Additon and Miss Ethelyn Additon of Ripley. Mr. Hanson, who was seriously burned in the accident, is still a patient at a hospital in Cooperstown, but he is getting along as well as can be expected.
