Obituary
Angus P. Mountain, 45, died Thursday morning, April 17th, at home on Forest street, Dexter. Mr. Mountain was superintendent of the Dumbarton Woolen Mill, No. 2, in Sangerville. He had been associated with the Dumbarton Mill for some over 25 years. He was born October 1, 1902 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, the son of the late William and Eunice (Park) Mountain, and recieved most of his education in the Amesbury, Mass., schools. Mr. Mountain was always very much interested in sports, and a loyal supporter of school activities. He was a member of the Boneka Club of the First Universalist church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alfreda Clukey Mountain; a daughter, Eunice; a son, Harold, all of Dexter; one brother, Ronald of Pontiac, Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Methodist church, the Rev. Gilman Lane officiating. The active bearers will be Ernest Gerry, Keith Farnham, Charles Ansell, all of. Dexter; Kenneth Titcomb, Glyndon Palmer of Sangerville; Howard Thomas of Newtonville, Mass. The honorary bearers: Gordon Park and Ralph Park of Sabattus; Millard Otto, Max Glazier, Laurence Kelley, Wendell Higgins, all of Dexter. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
