ETHEL N. ROBINSON DEXTER - Ethel N. Robinson, 86, a longtime resident of Dexter and Cambridge, passed away December 31, 2001. She was born April 14, 1915 at St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada the daughter of Wilfred and Effie (Greenlaw) Woodard. She moved to Dexter from St. Stephen in 1956. She was a member of the First Free Baptist Church in Dexter, and was also an active volunteer at Meals For Me and at the nursing home. She had received a number of awards for her devotion to her volunteer work. She was predeceased by her husband, James Robinson, on December 18, 1973. Ethel is survived by her son and daughter in law, James Paul and Linda Robinson, a daughter and son in law, Carole and Wayne Clukey, all of Dexter; a brother Benjamin Woodard of St. Stephen, New Brunswick; 3 sisters, Margaret Blackhall and Winifred Montgomery, both of St. Stephen, and Doris Morrison of Oak Bay, New Brunswick; 4 grandchildren, Laurie Robinson, Garnet Robinson, Cathy Wyman, and Stephen Clukey; 6 great grandchildren. Friends may call from 3-6 P.M. Wednesday, January 2nd, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
