Obituary	Mrs. Joan Briry Funeral services for Mrs. Joan Briry, widow of W. G. Briry, were held at the First Universalist church Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock Rev. K. R. Hutchinson officiating. Beautiful flowers attested to the high esteem in which she was held by her many friends. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were Harry E. Hale, A. L. Davis, B. L. Call and C. H. Crosby. Mrs. Briry, whose death occurred at a nursing home in Topsham Saturday, was born in Cambridge, Maine, 83 years ago, the daughter of John and Mary Ann Mitchell. She lived a few years in Patten but spent the greater part of her lifetime in Dexter. Where Mr. and Mrs. Briry had a fine home on Pleasant street. Mr. Briry died about sixteen years ago. She was a member of the Woman’s Literary Club, and of Rebecca Weston Chapter, D. A. R., both organizations attending the funeral services in a body. She was also a member of the Dexter Universalist church.
