Obituary	Mrs. Helen Safford Dove Mrs. Helen Safford Dove of West Upton, Mass. died suddenly at her home Thursday evening, October 23. Mrs. Dove observed her 103rd birthday Wednesday and was in her usual health, having the opportunity to greet her friends and enjoy the congratulations sent to her by host of friends and acquaintances, including many cards from Dexter and a telegram from the office of the town manager. She was born in Dexter October 22, 1838, the daughter of Hiram and Ruby Jumper Safford, the eldest of ten children. After completing her education in the local schools, she secured a teaching posiiton in this town, later going to Massachusetts where she had employment. In 1878 she was united in marriage with Charles Dove, who passed away in 1893. For the past fifty years she has made her home in West Upton. Surviving are her daughter, Miss Charlotte Dove, with whom she made her home; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Bellows of Cambridge, Mass., and a niece Mrs. Louise Norcross, Cambridge, Mass., also several cousins.
