Harry C. Hutchins Funeral services for Harry C. Hutchins, 72, were held Monday afternoon at his home on the shore road, with the Rev. Kenneth R. Hutchinson, pastor of the First Universalist church officiating. Bearers were Chester Strout, Favor Haines, Norman Brawn and John Knowles. Interment was in the family lot at Mount Pleasant cemetery. Attending the services from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Towle, Robert Strand, Topsham; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bibber, Bath; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Towle, Mrs. Norman Harnet, Bowdoin; Francis Hutchins, Bowdoinham; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Buzzell, Dover-Foxcroft; Mr. and Mrs. Storer Kimball, Charles Kittredge, Amos Lord, Roland Kittridge, Ripley; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Strout, Orman Burrill, Ernest Vigue, Garland; Mr. and Mrs. Newton Bowdoin, Mrs. Hilda Pomroy Pittsfield; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Seavey, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Brawn, St. Albans; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Maxim, Donald Maxim, Corinna. Mr. Hutchins died Friday night after an illness of two weeks. He was born in Brighton, the son of Benjamin and Sarah Abbie Hutchins, but spent the greater part of his life in Dexter where he was engaged in farming. In September 1892 he was united in marriage to Edith Larrabee, who passed away last March. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Seldon Strout, a son, Hugh Hutchins, and two grandchildren Marilyn and Rodney Hutchins of Dexter; a granddaughter, Mrs. Chester Strout, and a great grandson, Barry Strout of Garland.
