Obituary	Mrs. Luman C. Shepherd Funeral services for Mrs. Grace B. Shepherd, who died Sunday night at her home on Spring street following a long illness were held at the First Universalist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Kenneth R. Hutchinson officiated and burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Prayers were held at the grave. There was an abundance of beautiful flowers. Bearers were Harry Weymouth, Harry Seavey, Dr. R. A. Gross, Wallace Randall, and Dr. L. E. Kelley. Mrs. Shepherd was born in Dexter sixty-eight years ago, the daughter of Samuel and Ann Cushman and has lived here all her life. She was a granddaughter of the late Dr. Gilman C. Burleigh. She was married to Luman C. Shepherd June 15, 1898. She was a member of the Dexter Woman's Literary club, and a regular attendant at the Universalist church. A woman of pleasing personality, she was much loved by her many friends. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter Mrs. Wilford Slater, and two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Kelley and Harriett Burns, all of Dexter.
