Obituary	Edward L. Dexter Edward L. Dexter, 81, for more than fifty years a resident of Dexter, passed away early Wednesday morning at the home of Mrs. Helen Hatch where he has been cared for following a shock suffered several weeks ago. He was born in South Dover and when a young man enlisted in the United States army serving three years from 1879 to 1881, with Co. G. of the 18th Infantry in the Indian Campaigns on the western frontier, in Montana and Idaho. His only surviving relatives are two nephews Seth Dexter of Sangerville and Leslie Dexter of South Dover. Funeral services were held at the Ramsay and Gates funeral parlor, this afternoon, Thursday at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. K. R. Hutchinson officiating. Interment was in his private lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
