Obituary	Mrs. Viola C. Lander Mrs. Viola Charlotte Lander, 81, widow of the late William W. Lander, died at Newport Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Arthur W. Lander, with whom she had made her home since the death of her son. Mrs. Lander was born in Corinna, the daughter of Jonathan and Melissa Libby. She married William W. Lander of Dexter, and made her home here untli the death of her husband about twenty years ago, when she moved to Newport. She was a member, of the H. G. Libby unit, Women's Relief Corps, and of the U. B. B. society of the Union church in Newport. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Charles Benfield of Exeter, N. H., Mrs. Charles Bates of Dexter and Mrs. Della Shorey of Corinna. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the High street church in Newport with the Rev. R. W. Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in the Corinna Center cemetery.
