Mrs. Jesse R. Nutting Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Nutting, 64, were held from the residence in Guilford Saturday afternoon with the Rev. E. S. Thomas officiating. The profusion of beautiful flowers spoke in silent tribute of the esteem in which she was held by her many friends. The bearers were James and William Elderkin of Dexter, Mark Nutting and Eugene White of Parkman. Interment was in Jackman's Corner cemetery, Sangerville. Mrs. Nutting was born in Harmony, and had spent her entire life in Cambridge, Canaan, North Dexter, Guilford and Dexter. She was twice married, her first husband being Pearl Austin of Parkman. Twenty years ago she was united in marriage to Jesse R. Nutting of Dexter, who survives with four sons and daughters by the former marriage, Glen and Milan Austin of Cambridge, Dana Austin of Guilford and Mrs. James Ordway of Sangerville; a half-brother Walter Bean of Los Angeles, two brothers, Hubert Chadbourne of Guilford and Chester Chadbourne of Los Angeles, and a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Littlefield of Wilton. She was a member of North Dexter Grange and of the North Dexter Sewing club a prominent worker in both organizations, until the long perod of illness which resulted in her death.
