Obituary	Mrs. Emma E. Whitmore Mrs. Emma E. Whitmore, 74, wife of Daniel Whitmore, passed away early Monday morning at the home of her son, Ray V. Whitmore. She was born in Carlingford, N. B., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tapley, and came to Dexter from Fort Fairfield about twenty-nine years ago. Mrs. Whitmore was a valued member of the Free Baptist church and Ladies' Aid, and had always been an active worker. A woman of sterling character and a genial disposition, she will be greatly missed by her many relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Free Baptist church Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev. H. H Hayes of Milo officating. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were A. L. Davs, R. L. Killman, E. A. Porter, and Ralph Wakefield. Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Ray V. Whitmore of this town, Harry Whitmore of Winsted, Conn., and one daughter, Mrs. Gordon Gray of Boston, also seven grandchildren.
