Obituary	William D. Brannen The death of William D. Brannen occurred at his home on Spring street May 18, after a long illness. He was born in Fort Fairfield, Me., Feb. 6, 1893. He was the only son of John Brannen, and Alice (Giberson) Brannen, both deceased. He leaves his wife, Carrie F. and nine children, Mrs. Alice Bickmore of East Corinth, Mrs. Ruth Cooley of Dexter, Christine, Lillian, Audrey, Irene, Walter, Wendell and Bessie, at home; also four grandchildren; several aunts and cousins also survive. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 P. M. at the home, the Rev. Bliss A. MacQuarrie of Bangor officiating. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Dexter.
