Obituary	Halbert C. Beane Halbert C. Beane died early this morning at the Plummer Memorial hospital following a several days' illness from pneumonia, only six days, after the death of his wife, Mrs. May Beane. Mr. Beane was fifty-eight years of age, the son of Elmer C. and Mary Austin Beane and had always lived in this section of the state, having resided in Monson, Dexter and Corinna. While in Dexter he carried on a trucking business and for the past several years, he has made his home in Corinna, while driving the mail truck between Dover-Foxcroft and Newport. He was a member of the Masonic lodge of Monson and of Plymouth Lodge, I. 0. 0. F. of Dexter. His brother, Ray Beane, of Cambridge is the only near relative surviving. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock the Rev. Ondon P. Stairs officiating. Burial will be with his wife at Jackman Corner cemetery.
