Obituary	Vernal Bennett Vernal Bennett, a resident of Dexter for forty years, died Monday at the home of Mrs. Martha Goode, where he has been cared for during the past few weeks. He was the son of Lowell and Elizabeth Murray Bennett, and was born in Abbot June 5, 1882. He came to Dexter as a young man and for many years was in the employ of the Portland Packing Company, being a canner of long experience. Funeral services were held at the Goode residence this forenoon at 9 o'clock and interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bennett, and a son, James Bennett, of Brewer.
