Obituary	Mrs. George H. Foss Mrs. Emma C. Foss, wife of George H. Foss died Tuesday, March 14, at her home on Water street, following a several weeks' sickness, from bronchitis. She was born in Steuben, January 18, 1863 and for the past forty-five years has resided in Dexter. She was an interested member of the local Townsend Club. Funeral services will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Loren Dow of the Methodist church officiating, and the remains will be placed in the receiving tomb at Mt. Pleasant to await burial in the family lot in Rockland in the spring. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Albert Bertrand, of Dexter, Mrs. Frank Richards, Thomaston, Mrs. Stanley Bertrand, Portsmouth, Mrs. Ellis Springer, Franklin and two sons, Walter Foss, of Wilton and Franklin Foss, of Dexter also twenty-one grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
