Obituary
Reuel I. Gilman Reuel I. Gilman died at his home on lower Main street Wednesday evening, January 11, after an illness of several years. Mr. Gilman was born in Norridgewock, Maine, March 8, 1863, the son of William B. and Mary Weston Gilman. His early life was spent on a farm in Farmington, Maine. He came to Dexter in 1912, and in June 1913, married Cora Farrar, who died in October 1931. He was a member of the Free Baptist church. Surviving are a son of a former marriage, William A. Gilman, of Plymouth, Mass; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Ham, who has made her home with him for the past six years; a brother, Addison Gilman of Dexter; arid two nephews, Eugene H. Gilman of Akron, Ohio, and Harold A. Gilman of New York City. Funeral services will be held Saturday forenoon at ten o'clock from the Ramsay and Gates funeral parlors, the Rev. Kenneth R. Hutchinson officiating.
