Obituary	Daniel Carter Lane Daniel Carter Lane, son of the late Richard Harvey and Sybil Burrill Lane died Sunday at his apartment on Main street after an illness of several months. He is the last of the family, a brother, Henry dying in Elliotsville a few days ago. Mr. Lane has always lived in Dexter where he was born 72 years ago. He was a painter and paper hanger until his retirement a few years ago. He was never married. He is survived by several cousins. Of a kindly nature he made many friends. The funeral was held at the Ramsay and Gates funeral parlors Tuesday afternoon at 2 o clock, Rev. K. R. Hutchinson officiating. The bearers were A. L. Davis, George Safford, Wade Upton and Richard Ramsay. The remains were put in the receiving tomb to await burial in the spring.
