Obituary	Mrs. Elizabeth Gallant The many friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Gallant, widow of Pius Gallant, were saddened to learn of her death which occurred in her sleep Wednesday morning. Mrs. Gallant and family had moved, over the weekend, from the Ireland Block on Wall street to the Edwin Hale house on Highland Avenue. Although she had been troubled with a heart ailment for a number of years she was in her usual health when retiring Tuesday night and her passing came as a great shock to her family and friends. Mrs. Gallant was born in Wellington, Maine, June 6, 1883, the, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Page. She has been a resident of Dexter thirty five years. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Doris Gallant, of Dexter and two sons, Leigh Gallant of Bangor and Terrence of Dexter, also several cousins. Mr. Gallant died in 1922. Prayers will be said at the home on Highland Avenue, Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, by Rev. Raymond Berard. Interment will be in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
