Obituary
Homer Nadeau Homer Nadeau, 61, passed away Friday at his home on Grove street following several months of ill health. He was born in St. John, Maine, the son of Joseph and Martha Nadeau. In 1903 he was united in marriage to Miss Annie Beaulier and moved to Blue River, Canada where they resided until coming to Dexter eighteen years ago. For several years he was employed at the Dumbarton Woolen Mill, but for the past few years has been in business for himself. Funeral services were held from St. Ann's Catholic church Monday morning at 9 o'clock with the Rev. Raymond Berard officiating. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were Maxine Beaupre T. N. Clukey, Andrew Flynn, Daniel Robichaud, Aurele Chabot, and Thomas Groleau. Surviving besides his wife are five sons, Wilfred of Hartland, Alcide, Henry, William, and Joseph of Dexter; six daughters, Mrs. Emelda Harris of Corinna, Mrs. Lena Williams, Mrs. Rose Bush, Mrs. Martha Titus, Misses Lesa and Geneva Nadeau of Dexter, thirteen grandchildren, also two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Dalton of Thorndike and Mrs. Lydia St. Peters of St. John, and a half brother Rosario Nadeau of Canada. Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the services were: Mrs. John Pelky, Madison; Mrs. Rebecca Dalton and son, Roland, Thorndike; Miss Elizabeth Nadeau, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pelrine, Milo; Mr. and Mrs. Simm Levasseur, Newport; Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Nadeau, Hartland; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Harris, Corinna; and Oscar Beaulier, Sanford.
