Obituary	Mrs. Ada Sawtelle Mrs. Ada Sawtelle, widow of Francis M. Sawtelle, passed away at the home of her son, Clifford Sawtelle, Friday, April 11, following a shock suffered Tuesday night. She was born in Guilford, January 10, 1859, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bennett and has lived in this community thirty-five years, where she was highly respected and admired by a wide circle of friends. She is survived by three sons, Greenwood Sawtelle, of Caribou, Charles B. Sawtelle of Corinna, and Clifford Sawtelle; a daughter, Mrs. Marion White of Kittery, also seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock Rev. Ondon Stairs officiating. Burial was at the Corinna Center cemetery and the bearers were Alton and Elwin Puffer, Rosco Mason and Edgar Stinchfield. A large number of relatives and friends attended the services and there were many beautiful floral tributes. Among those from out of town at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Greenwood Sawtelle, of Caribou, Mr. and Mrs. Verne White and family of Kittery, Mr. and Mrs. Giles Fogg, of Abbott, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bennett, of Guilford, Elledge Sawtell, Costello Sawtelle, and Mrs. Leigh Heath, of Shirley, Mrs. Anie Ricker, and Leslie Sawtelle of Pittsfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Harland Sawtelle of Winslow.
