Obituary
Miss Louise Gilmore Farrar Word has been received in Dexter of the death of Miss Louise Gilmore Farrar, 71, at a Watertown, Mass., nursing home after a long illness. She was the elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew S. Farrar of Dexter, where she was born and received her education. She was a graduate of the N. H. Fay High School class of 1893. In early life she moved with her family to Waltham, Mass., and was employed for many years in the watch factory and later in a bank. Since the death of her father, she has been employed in a Waltham department store. Surviving is her sister, Mrs. Nathan W. Dennet, to whose home in Belmont, Mass., she moved after the illness of Mrs. Dennett last year. During her life in Dexter she was active in the Methodist church, of which she was a member, especially in the music and special concert programs and later in the Emmanuel Methodist church of Waltham. She was also active in the Rebekah lodge of Waltham.
