Obituary
Mrs. Linwood Patten Mrs. Bertha Patten, wife of Linwood Patten, passed away Tuesday night at the Fairfield Sanitorium where she had been a patient for several years. She was born in Dover forty-six years ago the daughter of the late Paul and Melissa Luby. She spent the most of her life in Dover-Foxcroft with the exception of about four years in Monson and four years in Hartland, moving from that town to Dexter with her family about five years ago. Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Charlene and Ruth Patten of this town and Mrs. Pearl Fowler of Dover-Foxcroft; two sons, Robert Patten of Dexter and Clifton Mountain of North Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Harley Tarr of Putnam, Conn. and Mrs. Frederick Mountain of Dexter, and two brothers, Guy Luby of East Rochester, N. H. and Paul Luby, Jr. of Rutland, Vt. Funeral services will be held at St. Ann's Catholic church Friday morning at 9 o'clock with the Rev. Leonard LeClair officiating. Burial will be in the Grey cemetery at Dover-Foxcroft.
