Obituary
Mrs. Eldora Atwater Mrs. Eldora Atwater, widow of Charles Atwater, passed away Wednesday forenoon after an illness of nine weeks at the home of hre son, Elbridge Atwater, on spring street. She was born in Dexter September 28, 1850, the daughter of Ganzelo, and Harriet Lane Blake and has always made her home in this town where she will long be remembered for her cheerful personality and unse!fisli devotion to others. Through her loyalty, understanding and kindness she endeared herself to a very large circle of friends. Mrs. Atwater was a member of the Methodist church, Dexter Grange, P. of H., Royal Neighbors, and Woman's Relief Corps and was always an energetic worker in the interests for the good of these organizations. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Frederick Niles officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Williams, of Wakefield, R. I.; a son, Elbridge Atwater, of Dexter; two brothers, Frank Blake of North Dexter and Edwin Blake of Middleboro, Mass.; a grandson, Frank Atwater, Dexter; nieces and nephews. Mr. Atwater died twenty-five years ago.
