Obituary	Fred E. Gove Fred E. Gove 77, died Sunday at his home on Pleasant street after a long illness. Born in Illinois, the son of George W. and Corilla Smith Gove, he came to Dexter more than fifty years ago and for many years conducted a trucking business in town. He was much interested in Odd Fellowship, being a member of Plymouth Lodge, I. 0. 0. F., Silver Lake Encampment and Canton Dexter, Patriarch's Militant. He had held the highest offices in all three branches of the order and was one of the trustees of the Odd Fellows' building, the Morrison Memorial building. He was also a member of Martha Washington Rebekah lodge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Blanche Crocker Gove, one son, Guy H. Gove of Brewer; two daughters Mrs. Gertrude Morgan of Wilton N. H. and Mrs. Hazel Huddell of Lynn Mass., also one grandson and one granddaughter. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock the Rev. Ondon P. Stairs officiating. The impressive Odd Fellow service was also conducted by members of Plymouth lodge. Many friends attended to pay final tribute and ther was a profusion of beautiful flowers. The bearers, members of Canton Dexter, P. M., were Albert Degerstrom Charles Chandler, eorge F. Huff, Clarence N. Pierce, Albert H. Bentley and Floyd Hammond. The body was placed in the tomb to await burial at Mt. Pleasant cemetery later in the spring.
