Obituary	JOHN R. ARNO DEXTER, John R. Arno, 88, husband of Imogene V. Arno, died August 27, 2001 at his home on the Cambridge Road in Dexter. He was born November 6, 1912, in Dexter, the son of John H. and Inez (Bridge) Arno. After graduating from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter, in June of 1932, he attended the University of Maine at Orono, graduating in 1936 with a B.S. in Agronomy. In 1938 he received a Masters Degree in Soils. He was employed as a soil scientist by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service. He worked in Maryland, New York and Maine until his retirement in 1976. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Imogene (Vigue) Arno of Dexter; his children, John G. and Mary Arno; his granddaughters, Kimberly Biagetti and Renee Doble; his great granddaughters, Alison and Madeline Doble. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday August 29, 2001, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter with Rev. Raymond Morency officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
