Obituary	CLARABELLE "BELLE" (WINGATE) GUDROE DEXTER - Clarabelle A. Gudroe, 88, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2001 at her Residence. She was born July 20, 1913 at Corinna the daughter of Edna Mae (Burgess) Wingate and Milton M. Wingate. Belle was a graduate of Corinna Union Academy, and was the wife of the late Richard E. Gudroe, who died in 1965. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, serving as Noble Grand for 12 years. She also founded the Junior Extension group and received her 65-year plaque last year. She was a member of the First Free Baptist Church of Dexter, the Ladies Social Club, and was a member of the Golden Age Club, serving as president for 14 years. She is survived by 3 sons, Floyd and wife Peggy Gudroe, Cecil L. Gudroe, and Keith Gudroe, all of Dexter; a sister, Ruth Hughes of Dexter; 7 grandsons; 1 grand-daughter; several great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Friends may call from 5-7 P.M. Sunday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Monday, July 30th, with the Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial will Be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial donations may be made to Soul's Harbor, in care of the funeral home.
