Obituary	Mrs. Martha Emery Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Emery were held at the home of her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dunn, December 24, Rev. Frederick Niles of the Methodist church officiating. There was a large attendance of friends and relatives and there were many beautiful flowers. The bearers were Edward Littlefield, Charles Frost, George Howell and George Nutter. Mrs. Emery was born in Prince Edward Island seventy-four years ago and came to Maine when she was a young woman, having lived in Dexter 33 years. She died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter after a long period of ill helath. Surviving are three sons, John Stone of Dexter, William Stone of Harmony, and George A’dell, Wilton two daughters, Mrs. Dunn, of Dexter and Mrs. Earl Peasley of Howland; also one sister, Mrs. Daniel Stone of Dexter and several grand children two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
