Obituary
Ralph P. Moore, for several years a resident of Milo, Maine, died Monday evening July 14. He was born in Dexter, March 19, 1886, the son of the late Frank E. and Ameline Ellis Moore of Dexter. He received his early eductaion in the public schools of Dexter, later learning the machinist trade at the Fay & Scott plant, where he was employed until he moved to Milo where he became foreman of the Wedge and Shoe Division at the Bangor and Aroostook car shops in Derby, remaining there until ill health caused him to retire in 1945. He is survived by his widow, Grace Amazeen Moore, two sons, Chester, of Sebec and Elwood of Derby, five daughters, Mrs. Darrell Drinkwater, Mrs. Basil Curtis of Milo, Mrs. Sidney Brown, Brownville Jct., Mrs. Ernest Bearce, Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Merle Curtis, Hudson; a brother Charles Crawford, Dexter, two sisters, Mrs. Anne Moore Clifford of Dexter, Mrs. Charles Newcomb of Clinton, and eleven grand children. Private funeral services were held at his late home in Milo Thursday, July 17 and burial was in the family lot there.
