Obituary
Frank E. Page Frank E. Page, 66, a retired rural mail carrier, and well known and respected citizen of Dexter, died Friday morning at his home on lower Main street after a long period of failing health. He was born in this town the son of Eben Webster and Estelle A. Roebuck Page, and has always lived here. He was the first rural carrier out of the Dexter post office and served his patrons faithfully for more than thirty years. He retired from service several years ago. Surviving are his wife, Laura Howell Page; three daughters, Estelle of Machias; Geraldine of Ithaca, N. Y.; and Judith of Dexter; four sons, Edgar M. Page, of Dexter; Staff Sergeant Frank H. Page of Ithaca, N. Y., Pvt. G. Manford Page of Carnp Bowie, Texas, and Eben P. Page of Dexter; two brothers, Almon R. Page of Dexter and, Jere S. Page of Skowhegan; a grandson, Millard Page of Dexter; one aunt, Mrs. Ella A. Page of Dexter and two cousins, Dr. W.J. Gilbert of Calais and Miss Gail Taggett of Skowhegan. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Frederick Niles, officiating Many friends attended the services and there was a profusion of flowers.
