Obituary	Lionel "Pepere” Chabot DEXTER - Lionel Joseph Chabot, 87, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family and friends, October 8, 2002. He was born April 5, 1915 at Mont Laurier, Quebec, a son of Aurele and Mary (Laflamme) Chabot. He was a Sergeant in the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II, and worked in several area woolen mills in Dexter. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Church, and was a 50 year member of Pouliot-Seavey Post 53, American Legion. He was predeceased by his wife Matilda (Clukey) Chabot; and 3 brothers, Louis, Joseph, and Paul Chabot. He is survived by 3 children: a daughter, Theresa and husband Rodney Parsons of St. Albans; sons Gerard and wife Jackie Chabot of Lunenburg, MA, and Loren and wife Judy Chabot of Dexter; 4 sisters, Jeannette, Rita and Helen Clukey, and Florence Gould, all of Dexter; a brother Philip Chabot of Dexter; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated October 11 at St. Annes Catholic Church, Free Street, Dexter, with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Morency officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
