Obituary	Quincy G. Smith Quincy G. Smith, 78, died late Saturday night at the Willow Crest Nursing Home in Pittston, after a long illness. He was born December 10, 1863 in Monroe, the son of Major B. and Laura Curtis Smith. He married Nellie Kittredge, who died seven years ago. He has resided in East Dexter for many years and for a long time was a faithful employee of the town. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Tibbetts, of Portsmouth, Virginia; two sons, Quincy, Jr., of Dexter, and Maynard who is at Camp Shelby, Miss.; one step son, Fred Kittredge, and one step daughter, Mary Morgan, Madison. Funeral services were held this afternoon from the Ramsay and Gates funeral parlors, the Rev. Ondon P. Stairs officiating. Interment was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were Harry Johnson, Maurice Carr, Herbert Russell and Roy Towle.
