Obituary	Lizzie Small Funeral services for Miss Lizzie Small were held at the First Universalist church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Gordon C. Reardon officiating. Floral tributes were in profusion. The bearers were W. B. Ayer, Charles Coy, Elwin Farnham, and Harold Blaisdell. Interment was in the family lot in Elmwood cemetery. Miss Small passed away Monday at the Plummer Memorial hospital where she had been ill with pneumonia for several days. She was born in Dexter eighty-seven years ago, the daughter of Samuel C. and Sophia Williams Small. An active worker in Wassookeag Chapter, O. E. S., she served the lodge as past matron and was warder for many years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star club and the U. F. Club. Surviving are two nephews, W. A. Small and Harold D. Small, and a niece Mrs. W. G. Haseltine, all of Dexter. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Devoe and Mrs. Ira Beale of Bangor were among the out-of-town friends attending the services.
