Obituary	Mrs. Abbie R. Cruise Funeral services for Mrs. Abbie R. Cruise were held at the First Baptist church Tuesday forenoon at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Ondon P. Stairs officiating. There were many flowers and the services was attended by a large number of friends who gathered to pay their last respects to one who was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in the spring. The bearers were Elbridge Atwater, Rexford Slater, John Arno and Glen Arno. Mrs. Cruise was born in Elliot, Me., sixty-nine years age, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Cousins, but has resided in Dexter about forty years. She was married in early life to Frank Morgridge, who passed away in 1916. Her second husband, Thomas Cruise, died about six years ago. She was a member of Dexter Grange and of the Townsend club. Mrs. Cruise died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Elbridge Atwater, after an illness of seven weeks. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Atwater and Mrs. Rexford Slater; a son, Frank Morgridge of New York City; two sisters living in Massachusetts; also three grandchildren, Mrs. Norma Farnham of New London, Conn.; George Slater and Frank Atwater of Dexter.
