Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Ondon P. Stairs officiating. There were many present at the services and floral tributes were in profusion. The bearers were the present rural carriers from the Dexter postoffice: Elwin B. Farnham, Charles Doble, James Morrison, and Ralph Lowell. Other postal employees, Postmaster Joseph Mountain, Glen C. Ayer, Merle B. Knox, Edgar M. Page and Frank Howard were honorary bearers.
