Obituary	Mrs. Bertha W. Worthen Dexter friends of Mrs. Bertha W. Worthen, wife of Frank Worthen, of Guilford, formerly of this town, were saddened to hear of her death at her home Tuesday night six weeks after an operation. Mrs. Worthen was born in Newport 59 years ago, the daughter of Mr. nad Mrs. Adolph Wilson. For twenty-eight years she was a resident of Dexter where she leaves many friends. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Donald, in the U. S. Army, for the past nine years stationed in Panama; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Getchell of North Andover, Mass. and one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Reynolds of Newport. Private funeral services were held at the home in Guilford this afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Ondon P. Stairs officiating. The remains were brought to Dexter and placed in the tomb to await burial at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in the spring. Richard H. Ramsay was funeral director.
